this is an example of CSS stylesheets. I can control everything, including background color, and even animations. Making websites responsive to the screen resolution and size is by far my favorite aspect of CSS however.

The Dinosaur

That little dinosaur atop the "unable to connect to the internet" message you get when you are offline is actually a playable character in a scrolling game. Just click it from a computer or tap it from a mobile phone. Tapping it again will make the dinosaur jump over the cacti that appear onscreen - which is the whole object of the game.
It's not the most engrossing game in the world, but it's still, by far a more pleasant time killer talking to someone on the subway.

HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language. it is a front-end technology for servers and web browsers. it uses plain english, and is quite simple. The code is arranged into tags, one open and one closed. 

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. It is another language used to design the front-end of a website server. CSS decides what you see on the webpage, and can be used to design colors, animations, and other neat things. CSS can also make websites responsive, which means that the website will change depending on the screen size and resolution.
